Highway in Snow

1. I am extremely near-sighted, and had an eye exam earlier that day, where they dilated my pupils. My eyes, unlike some peoples', take many hours to return to normal, so at the time I took this shot, I could not focus on anything further than 2 feet away! I was therefore not the one driving, which made it safer to take a photo while on the highway.

2. This is Route 95, which is always jam-packed full of cars, especially near me, going through the technology corridor west of Boston. But because of the heavy snowstorm, weather forecasting,  modern technology and the Internet, most people stayed off the road that day and telecommuted or just didn't work. I have never seen the road this empty, even at 3 a.m!

3. This is unretouched - I could not focus, so the camera did the work for me, through a wet windshield, and the wiper blades don't even show up in the shot!
